Dillon Hayes, MD
Welcome. I’m a psychiatrist based in New York City, where I work with professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives who are navigating complex demands—internally and externally. My approach blends psychotherapy with medication management, tailored to each individual’s goals and challenges.
Before medical school, I studied at Cornell and began my career in finance. Over time, my interest in performance and decision-making deepened into a broader inquiry: how people grow, adapt, and come to understand themselves. That led me to medicine, and eventually to psychiatry. I completed my training in the Mount Sinai Health System and opened a private practice focused on thoughtful, effective care.
While my clinical work addresses conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and burnout, the deeper aim is always the same: clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.
Beyond my clinical work, I write about awareness, confidence, identity, and freedom—as forces that shape how we live, work, and relate. You can explore these ideas further in The Psychology of Growth, a collection of essays on insight, self-understanding, and achievement.
